Nothing says a weekend in the country, quite like a trip to Tenterfield in Northern New South Wales. Windswept rolling hills, age old balder rocks, native deer abound and of course, a drop in the temperature, and we were there. Three and a bit hours from Goondiwindi, Brisbane, Byron Bay and a smidge over four hours from the Gold Coast, the once sleepy home of the beloved Peter Allen, is now a bustling destination for tourists and those seeking creative respite.
